Andrew Holmes

Andrew Holmes’ first novel, SLEB, was shortlisted for the 2002 WHSmith New Talent Award in the UK. His other novels are ALL FUR COAT, 64 CLARKE, and RAIN DOGS AND LOVE CATS, all of which have been critically well received in the UK, earning Andrew comparisons with Martin Amis and Elmore Leonard, among others.

His nonfiction work has been of a collaborative nature and most recently he has worked with New Order and Joy Division bassist Peter Hook on Peter’s books THE HACIENDA: HOW NOT TO RUN A CLUB and UNKNOWN PLEASURES: INSIDE JOY DIVISION.

Andrew Holmes also writes under the pseudonym Oliver Bowden. Under licence from Ubisoft, he has written five books set in the Assassin’s Creed video game universe, THE SECRET CRUSADE, FORSAKEN, BLACK FLAG, UNITY and UNDERWORLD.

Andrew, whether in his own name or as a ghostwriter, has published books in most genres: literary fiction, celebrity autobiography, science-fiction, fantasy, historical thrillers, and memoir. Sales of these books, through the UK alone, stand in excess of 600,000 copies.

He lives in the English countryside with his wife and two children.
