Janet Skeslien Charles

Janet Skeslien Charles is the New York Times and internationally bestselling author of The Paris Library. Her work has been translated into 37 languages. She has spent a decade researching Jessie Carson (Miss Morgan’s Book Brigade) at The Morgan Library, the NYPL, and archives across France. She divides her time between Paris, Montana, and libraries all over the world. She enjoys chatting with book lovers and has met with over 200 book clubs, libraries, and bookshops. She has been the keynote speaker at events such as the Salem Literary Festival and the Association of American Women in Europe‘s 60th Anniversary.
