Jodé Millman
Jodé Millman (1954- )attended Syracuse University for her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees, and Eastern Michigan University to earn a Masters Degree in English Literature. She has been recognized in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Entertainment, and Who's Who in American Law for her professional contributions to the legal and broadcasting fields.
Jode's manuscript, THE MIDNIGHT CALL, was shortlisted for the Clue Award and received a First Place Blue Ribbon for "Best Police Procedural." THE MIDNIGHT CALL will be released by Immortal Works in May 2019.
In 2011, Jode founded of the Hudson Valley Fiction Writers Workshop, which meets monthly to assist aspiring authors in the Hudson Valley. In 2017, she served as a panelist at Thrillerfest and is a regular contributor to Sisters In Crime's quarterly newsletter, InSinC.
Jode has also served on the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, and Marist College; and as a Trustee for numerous charitable foundations. Since 2014, she's organized Movies Under the Walkway, a free, family oriented film series held during the summers at the Upper Landing Park, Poughkeepsie, NY.
Jodé's interests also include creative writing, travel, golf, watercolor painting, photography, cinema, and rock'n roll. Jodé, her husband and their two college age sons, divide their time between their native Poughkeepsie, New York; New York City, New York; and Hilton Head, South Carolina.
