Cometan is a British author, philosopher, and theologian best known for founding the religion of Astronism as well as for creating the Spacefaring World franchise, the most popular character in which is the Jesse Millette mystery detective character.

Cometan was born on 1st July 1998 in Preston in Lancashire, England, United Kingdom to Louise Counsell and Sean Frederick Taylor. From the age of fifteen, Cometan has lived a public life as he dedicated his life to the success of his fiction writing as well as the dissemination of his Astronist beliefs.

Cometan is famous for founding and developing the spacefaring literary genre and for popularising the intertwinement of religious beliefs into his writings. Cometan is a scholar of astronomical religions and is the principal organiser of the Astronic tradition of religions and philosophies.
