Christie Grotheim is a New York-based writer whose stories have been featured in Salon, The New York Observer, Mr. Beller's Neighborhood, Petrolicious.com, TheReset.com, Apartment Therapy, Travelmag.com, and West View News. With a background is in graphic design and copywriting, Grotheim began her writing career in 2008 specializing in creative non-fiction and personal essays. Over the past ten years she's studied creative writing at the New School, Catapult and the 92nd Street Y, where she fell in love with fiction, and where Marjorie Moore was conceived--and birthed a few years later as her debut novel.
