Andrea Portes is the bestselling novelist of the critically lauded novel, HICK. The book was her debut novel and was made into a feature film starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Eddie Redmayne, Blake Lively, Alec Baldwin and Juliette Lewis. Andrea Portes was honored to write the screenplay adaptation. Her second novel BURY THIS, came out in February 2014, and examines the 1979 murder of a young woman and its effect on a small town in Michigan. The novel was optioned by Paramount Pictures in a preemptive deal due to a bidding war. Shortly thereafter, Portes sold LIBERTY a YA spy-thriller to HarperCollins. Fox Studios’ Fox 2000 acquired the rights to LIBERTY, to be produced by Wyck Godfrey and TEMPLE HILL.
