Pia L. Bertucci

Pia L. Bertucci was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 24, she moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to attend Graduate School at The University of North Carolina, where she received a Ph.D. in Romance Languages, with a specialization in Italian. She is currently the Director of the Italian Program at The University of South Carolina in Columbia, where her teaching and research interests include Southern Italian Writers and Italian Food Culture. Her latest book, a novella of fiction entitled BETWEEN MILK AND INDIA, is available in print and kindle editions.
