G. Clemans
Depending on the hour, G. Clemans might be writing about a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by lightning storms, teaching semiotics to twenty-year-olds, or squinting at art in a gallery. A founding instructor of Critical & Contextual Studies at Cornish College of the Arts, Clemans regularly contributes art criticism to The Seattle Times. Clemans has only recently embarked on the wild ride of writing fiction. Inspired by her two daughters, she crafts real-world fantasies for young adults—stories that intermingle historical research with made-up mythologies.
