Beverley Eikli

Beverley Eikli was seventeen when she bundled up her first her 500+ page romance and sent it to a publisher. Sadly, her hopes for a six figure publishing deal were dashed after being told that drowning her heroine on the last page was not in line with the expectations of romance readers. So she became a journalist and married a Norwegian bush pilot she met around a campfire in Botswana. Beverley has written more than twelve historical romances filled with mystery and intrigue, mostly set in England during the early nineteenth century. None of her heroines has ever died. She now lives with her husband and two daughters in a pretty country town an hour north of Melbourne, Australia. Beverley also writes steamier historicals as Beverley Oakley.
