Susan Froetschel
Susan Froetschel is the author of five suspense novels that examine how parents question and resist policies that others in their community take for granted. Her most recent book is ALLURE OF DECEIT, set in a fictional and remote village in Afghanistan.
Froetschel lives in Michigan. She began her career working for Self, House Beautiful and Esquire magazines before moving to Alaska for a reporting post in Sitka, Alaska. Later, she taught writing and journalism at Yale University and Southern Connecticut State University, and since 2005, she has worked for YaleGlobal Online, a public-service magazine that covers globalization defined as the interconnectedness of our world.
She is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, National Book Critics Circle, National Federation of Press Women, and International Thriller Writers.
