Sue Clifton
DR. SUE CLIFTON, in addition to being an author, is a fly fisher, retired educator, ghost hunter, and lover of all things vintage including vehicles and her 1950 Comet camper "Spam I Am". Dr. Sue and "Spam" travel to events all over the U.S. sponsored by the national group in which Dr. Sue is a member, Sisters on the Fly. Dr. Sue can't remember a time when she did not write beginning with two plays published at sixteen. Her writing career was put on hold while she traveled the world with her husband Woody in his career, as well as with her own career as a teacher and administrator in Mississippi, Alaska, New Zealand, and on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana. The places Dr. Sue has lived provide rich background and settings for the novels she creates. Dr. Sue now divides her time among homes in Montana, Mississippi, and Arkansas and enjoys traveling, ghost hunting, fly fishing and camping with Woody and their grandchildren. THE GULLY PATH is the first of five published novels written by Dr. Sue. Ten percent of Dr. Sue's book sales goes to Casting for Recovery, a national organization that provides fly fishing retreats for women survivors of breast cancer. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
