Jessica Burton is an English author and actress. She has published four books; The Miniaturist, The Muse, The Restless Girls, and The Confession. The Muse has been published at least 38 languages worldwide. Her books have been Sunday Times no.1 best-sellers, New York Times best-sellers, and Radio 4’s Books at Bedtime. Her published short stories include Harpers Bazaar US and Stylist.

Burton is also a non-fiction writer. Her essays have been published in The Wall Street Journal, The Independent, Vogue, Elle, Red, Grazia, Lonely Planet Traveler, and The Spectator.
