Lisa Dawn

Lisa Dawn was born and raised in New Jersey. She took a strong interest in screenwriting when she attended Ramapo College of New Jersey, but decided to try her hand at books in an advanced writing class, where she wrote Elf Princess Roweena . Upon graduating from Ramapo College in 2008, she moved to Florida to pursue her dream of working at Walt Disney World. Then, in 2010, she moved to California to pursue her dream of working on movies. Before publishing Elf Princess Roweena, Lisa released some of the later books she wrote, including Of Land and Sea,: The Untold Story of The Little Mermaid, Castle [and other poems about growing up in a fairy tale world] and Rebirth: A Faery's Tale. She continues to pursue new and creative methods of storytelling.
