Betsy Cook Speer

Demolition Queen is Betsy’s debut novel. Like her heroine she's an American living in the UK, got a BS in Chemistry for all the wrong reasons, loves knocking down walls, and guzzles champagne like water! Betsy's lived in the UK for 17 1/2 years with her husband and three sons (24,21 & 17). After growing up in Charlotte, NC she attended Denison University. Her working career has been varied and never boring. Jobs included technical sales with Kodak, Stella & Dot star stylist, and development planning for UK Grade 1 listed properties. She’s also run her own companies from child safety to home renovation. Currently serving her second year as President of American Women of Surrey, Betsy also loves plumbing, creating art, and of course writing.
