Phil Dunlap

Phil Dunlap has eleven traditionally published novels to his credit, one of which, “Saving Mattie,” won the 2009 EPIC Award for Best Historical Western in its e-Book version. Another, “Blood on the Rimrock” was a finalist in the Best Books of Indiana competition for 2009, sponsored by the Indiana State Library and the Library of Congress. Apache Lawman was a nominee for the 2012 Western Fictioneers Best Western Novel.

The author gives talks on writing historical fiction, as well as specific programs on gunfighters of the Old West. He lives with his wife, Judy, in Carmel, IN.
