Author Michele Mannon believes life would be incredibly dull without an endless assortment of books. Even at a young age, worn copies of the teenage sleuth Trixie Belden series were consumed quicker than a slice of chocolate cake. Naturally, a young girl bred on books (and chocolate cake) would decide to pursue the wonderfully creative life of an author. Michele enjoys taking readers on a journey to exotic locals like . . . Pittsburgh, or the Sonora Desert in July. Okay, maybe it’s not about the settings but the laughs. The kind of belly shaking she hopes her characters bring out in readers, who like funny contemporary stories with a hint of quirkiness. And romance. Stories where strong sexy hunks encounter sassy women, and fall in love.
