Joshua DuBois
President Obama's "Pastor-in-Chief" (TIME Magazine) and longtime spiritual advisor, Joshua DuBois led the White House faith-based initiative during Obama's first term, and served with the President for years before that. He is one of our country's top leaders, speakers and writers on how to live out faith and values, and strengthen our communities, in an increasingly busy world. Joshua writes a regular religion column for The Daily Beast and has authored several cover stories for Newsweek magazine, including The Secret Faith of Washington and the landmark piece, The Fight for Black Men. He regularly speaks about faith, culture, race and reconciliation, and has been featured on CNN, MSNBC, in the New York Times, Washington Post and elsewhere. Joshua also leads a new consulting firm, Values Partnerships, that helps private and nonprofit institutions partner with the faith community to solve big challenges. Joshua graduated from Boston University and Princeton University, and is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. He lives in Washington D.C. with his new wife, Michelle and their crazy little dog, Cinco.
