Kate Parker
The first books Kate Parker read were Nancy Drew mysteries and her mother's Agatha Christie novels, and now she can't write a story without someone dropping dead by chapter five. Kate grew up in Washington DC and worked in a variety of fields from hospital microbiologist to communications technician before moving to a small Southern town and beginning her favorite career - author.
Now, when Kate's not hard at work on the further adventures of Georgia Fenchurch and her associates in Victorian London, she's walking along the beach or the streets of her eighteenth century hometown. And on winter nights, you'll find her curled up with a historical mystery and a hot cup of tea for atmosphere while wearing shorts and a tee shirt for the temperature.
