Ryan K. Sallans

Ryan Sallans, born and raised in rural Nebraska, began his transition from female to male in 2005. He is most known today as a national speaker who shares his journey from female to male-bodied and his struggles with an eating disorder. Ryan received a Master of Arts degree in English and Educational Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Ryan has evolved into a Diversity Trainer, Consultant, and Author. In his spare time he enjoys building furniture and battling with home repair projects, both small and large, as well as hitting the trails either by foot or on his bike so that he can be out of the city and take in the sights of nature.
