Mick Herron
Mick Herron is a novelist and short story writer whose books include the Sarah Tucker/Zoë Boehm series, the standalone novel RECONSTRUCTION, and the Gold Dagger-winning Slough House series. The second Slough House novel, the “clever and funny”* DEAD LIONS, won the 2013 CWA Goldsboro Gold Dagger, and was picked by the Sunday Times as one of the best 25 crime novels of the past five years. The paper described it as “a delightful caper with a dry humour reminiscent of Greene and Waugh”. Mick’s work has also been shortlisted for the Macavity, Barry and Shamus awards. His novella DOLPHIN JUNCTION was joint winner of the 2009 Ellery Queen Readers Award. His short stories have appeared in, among other anthologies, THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF BEST BRITISH CRIME, Volumes 7 and 8. They have been collected in the volume ALL THE LIVELONG DAY.
