Liza Burgess

Liza Burgess grew up in Glasgow where she followed an Undergraduate course in Business and Administration at Strathclyde University. She lived in Switzerland for a year, where she worked as an au-pair while attending French classes at a local college to perfect the language. She met her future husband during this time. She moved permanently to Switzerland a couple of years later where she lived and worked for over 30 years. Liza started her career as secretary for a major Telecommunications Company and moved on to become Manager of their Swiss office, where she organized and participated in several large international conferences in Geneva. She is completely bi-lingual in English and French, and also speaks Italian. She now lives a more relaxed life in Spain with her husband where she enjoys reading, writing and learning Spanish. She spends part of the year in her native Scotland where she owns a holiday home. She has one son living in Switzerland. “The Nameless” is her first novel
