Ross Edward Puskar

Ross Edward Puskar

Ross Puskar spent nearly 30 years in the advertising agency business in Dallas, Texas. He rose through the ranks at Bozell & Jacobs, then he and his partners Jim Gibbon and Jud Chapin founded their own firm, Puskar Gibbon Chapin or PGC. Ross worked with clients as diverse as American Airlines and Greyhound, Jimmy Dean and Delta Pride, Sara Lee and Southwestern Bell, Dillard’s and Zale Corporation. PGC was acquired by Omnicom in 1993 and Ross retired in 1997 at age 50. No one has enjoyed retirement more than Ross. He relishes the luxury of reading whatever and whenever he wants. He’s an amateur collector of antique maps and Ross thoroughly appreciates an open road to travel in his F-150. Writing Founding Fathers Know Best was an opportunity for Ross to combine his love of history with his love of country… and a unique chance to blend satire and creativity with the past and politics. Ross has been very happily married to Jude for more than forty years. They have two adult daughters, Hilary and Jaime Lee. Jude and Ross split time between their homes in Texas and Florida. They frequently vacation in Colorado. When Ross stands to hear the Star Spangled Banner his eyes often get a bit moist, especially lately.
