Linda J. White is a seasoned writer and public speaker. She is the assistant editorial page editor at The Free Lance-Star, a daily newspaper in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She has three grown children and lives in the country with her husband, Larry, two cats and two dogs. Linda and her husband have a 32-foot Endeavour sailboat on the lower Potomac River, within easy reach of the Chesapeake Bay.
