Gerald Chapple
Gerald Chapple has been translating contemporary German authors for over thirty-five years, winning a prize from the Austrian government in 1996. His translations include books on European history and Indian art, as well as poetry and prose in thirty-five journals. He lives in Dundas, Ontario, and has retired from teaching German language and literature at McMaster University.
