Debi Tibbles
Debi Tibbles was born and raised in England and relocated to the United States in 1997. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mum of three and working part-time in the fitness industry, but her life changed dramatically when her youngest, Ollie, was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor. For two years, he battled bravely before losing his life at age seven. The story, which she shares in Ollie Tibbles: The Boy Who Became a Train, is a journey through every parent’s nightmare, yet the power of a child’s love and legacy prove that there is life after death. Today Debi shares this message as a motivational speaker for Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois and also via the airwaves, most recently with John St. Augustine, creator of Oprah Radio, and Martha Stewart Living Radio. With a candid approach, Debi empowers others not only to heal after loss but to overcome challenges and live at their fullest potential.
