Dorthe Binkert

Dörthe Binkert, born in Hagen/Westfalen, Germany, studied German literature, Politics and History of Art (PhD). For 30 years she worked as an editor and editor-in-chief for several big German publishing houses. After writing non-fiction books for years, her first novel, "Weit übers Meer" was published by DTV in 2008. It was translated to English and published by AmazonCrossing in 2012 as "She Wore Only White". She has a son and lives in Zurich, Switzerland where she writes fiction and non-fiction while working as a free-lance journalist.
