Sandy Semerad

Sandy Semerad

I've worked as a jounalist for many years: newspaper reporter, editor, columnist and broadcaster, where I learned the craft of writing. Since moving from Atlanta to the Florida Panhandle in 1990, I've written two mystery novels: Mardi Gravestone, set in New Orleans during Mardi Gras and Hurricane House, set in a Florida fishing village with a murderer at large. Both books have received great reviews. Romantic times referred to Mardi Gravestone as ʺa very exciting mystery.ʺ Hurricane House received five stars from Midwest Book Review and four and 1/2 stars fronm Romantic Times. You can read excerpts by visiting my website: www.sandysemerad.com

When I'm not writing I work with a national publishing company of Chamber of Commerce literature. My husband Larry and I live in Santa Rosa Beach, FL with a spoiled shih tzu named P-Nut.
