Suzanne Johnson

Suzanne Johnson is the author of the paranormal/urban fantasy series Sentinels of New Orleans, published by Tor Books. The series explores what happens when Hurricane Katrina causes the borders between New Orleans and the paranormal world to crumble, leading to a flood of preternatural creatures into the city and the growing power struggle between the larger prete groups and the wizards, whose sentinels have traditionally guarded the borders between worlds. Books 1 and 2, Royal Street and River Road, came out in 2012; book 3, Elysian Fields, releases on August 13, 2013. Books four and five are scheduled for 2014. As Susannah Sandlin, Suzanne writes sensual paranormal romance and romantic thrillers. She is the author of the award-winning Penton Legacy series, about a world where the vaccine for a human pandemic has rendered human blood poisonous to vampires, resulting in anarchy and chaos. The first two books in the series (Redemption and Absolution) came out in 2012. Book three, Omega, came out in February 2013. Delieverance, Penton 4, is scheduled for release in spring 2014. She is also the author of a spinoff novel, Storm Force, which came out in spring 2013.
