Graeme Kent

Graeme Kent is an experienced writer, the author of over 120 books published in more than twenty different countries. He is the author of prize winning television and stage plays and has written and produced hundreds of radio plays and features broadcasts all over the world. As a freelance journalist he has contributed to many national newspapers and magazines. He served with the army in Korea, worked as a BBC producer and a consultant to Yorkshire Television, and the headmaster of a primary school. For eight years he ran an educational broadcasting service in the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific.
He has written a number of books on sporting history, including The Great White Hopes, which was short-listed for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year. His book Olympic Follies was nominated by the Independent as one of its sports books of the year. He is the author of the popular Kella and Conchita crime book series, published in Great Britain and the USA. He has two grown up children and lives with his wife Janet in Lincolnshire.
