KIM O'BRIEN grew up in Bronxville, New York, with her family and many petsβcats, dogs, and even a big thoroughbred horse named Pops. She worked for many years as a writer, editor, and speechwriter for IBM in New York. She holds a Masters of fine arts in writing from Sarah Lawrence College in New York and is a member of Loft Church. She lives in The Woodlands, Texas, with her husband, Michael, daughters, Beth and Maggie, and German Shepherd, Indy.
