Cheryl Bonita Martin was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from East Boston High School and is a college graduate from Newbury College. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources management. She lives in the Dallas area with her daughter, SheneΓ© Nicole and her granddaughter, Asia Mikenly. When worshiping, she visits Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
