June Shaw

June Shaw writes a series of humorous mysteries featuring a spunky widow who thinks she wants to avoid her hunky lover so she can rediscover herself, but he opens Cajun restaurants wherever she travels––and she is so bad at avoiding tempting dishes and men. Deadly Ink nominated the first book in her series for its David award for Best Mystery of the Year. Her suspense APPROACHING MENACE has been compared to work by Mary Higgens Clark. Shaw has also written a sweet southern romance and other books, including a picture book she wrote with her granddaughter called HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR PET GHOST. She is spending her third term representing Louiaiana on the board of Mystery Writers of America's Southwest Chapter and also her third term as Published Author Liasion for Romance Writers of America's South Louiaiana Chapter.
