E. Travis Cox

E. Travis Cox

E. Travis Cox was born in Weatherford Texas and grew up in Fort Worth where he attended Texas Wesleyan University. At an early age he developed interest in working out and a love for sports. He continued this interest in the Health and Fitness industry and began working for Health and Tennis Corporation of America. His hobbies have centered on sports and fitness. He's an avid scuba diver, and is currently taking flying lessons. While keeping fitness a big part of his personal life, he ventured to new tasks and began teaching Physical Education and Math to students at the Hillier School in Dallas Texas, which is a school for dyslexic children. This school specifically targets learning tools to help children navigate back to mainstream classroom education. After teaching for 10 years at the Hillier School, he and his wife bought Riverside Cottages in Gardiner Montana at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. They offer lodging along the Yellowstone River to vacation travelers from all over the world. His love of adventure and history compelled him to begin writing, and The Candle Maker's Son is but the first of a series of books.
