D. W. Murray

D.W.Murray is an award winning story artist. As a former Disney animation artist, his screen credits include Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch, Brother Bear, and the newly released Curious George, by Universal Pictures. He has written numerous screenplays, pitched story concepts to Roy Disney, and the producers of Touched By An Angel. He has had scripts read by a host of prominent actors, directors and producers in the film industry.

In addition to his work with Walt Disney Feature Animation, D.W. Murray has served on the executive board for the R.I State Council on the Arts. As an illustrator his works have been published in Vogue, Town & Country Magazine, New Yorker Magazine, the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald. D.W. Murray is a past award recipient of the prestigious New York Society of Illustrators Gallery, and the 2004 Gold Aurora Award. He has also had the pleasure of illustrating the covers for the Majesty series, books one and two. D.W. Murray lives in Ocoee, Florida with his wife, Mary Ellen and their 3 children.
