Julie S. Mandela

Julia S. Mandala practiced law for seven years, first as a bankruptcy lawyer, then as a labor litigator. Although she enjoyed the intellectual challenge and working with bright, talented individuals, the grind and stress took its toll and she developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Both of these illnesses cause cognitive function and memory problems that forced her to quit practicing law. Her memory has improved some (please don't be offended if she don't remember meeting you before, though. Names and faces still give her fits).. Since quitting, she has written several (as yet unpublished) novels and numerous (happily published) short stories. She is married to attorney Lawrence Mandala and am the servant of two rescued cats, Apollo and Athena.
