Leslie R. Martin

Leslie R. Martin is a Professor of Psychology at La Sierra University in Riverside, California where her teaching roster includes Personality, Health Psychology, and Methods & Statistics. Her research interests center on better understanding physician-patient interactions in order to improve patient outcomes and on identifying psychosocial pathways to health and longevity. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys hiking, running, reading, and playing with her dog. Her latest book, co-authored with Howard S. Friedman, is "The Longevity Project: Surprising Discoveries for Health and Long Life from the Landmark Eight-Decade Study."
