Ami Silber

Pseudonym for Zoe Archer.

Ami Silber is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. While working on a graduate degree in Literature at UC San Diego, Ami’s story “Pacific” won the Short Story Award for New Writers from Glimmer Train Press. Her story “The Insomniac” also appeared in Glimmer Train Stories. She finished at UCSD with a Master’s degree in order to attend the University of Iowa. This was the first time she lived someplace where it snowed. Ami is also an award-winning author of romance. Writing as Zoe Archer, she and her books have been featured in Romantic Times. She has won the Book Buyers Best Award for Best Historical Romance, and has also received numerous award nominations, including the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice for Best First Historical Romance, as well as the Desert Rose Golden Quill Award for Best Historical Romance. Ami was born in Rockville Centre, Long Island, and moved with her family to Los Angeles six months later. She and her husband currently live in Los Angeles, where it does not snow.
