Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore

Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore (formerly known as Matt Bernstein Sycamore) is the author, most recently, of the novel So Many Ways to Sleep Badly, and the editor of Nobody Passes: Rejecting the Rules of Gender and Conformity and That's Revolting! Queer Strategies for Resisting Assimilation. She's also the author of Pulling Taffy, and the editor of Dangerous Families: Queer Writing on Surviving and Tricks and Treats: Sex Workers Write About Their Clients. Sycamore is currently at work on a memoir, The End of San Francisco, and a new anthology, Why Are Faggots so Afraid of Faggots?: Flaming Challenges to Masculinity, Objectification and the Desire to Conform.
