Vonnie Hughes

Vonnie is a New Zealander living in Australia. She first began writing stories at about seven years of age and won and placed in several contests. In her late teens/early twenties she rediscovered writing and had some small successes with short stories, articles and poetry in well-known popular magazines and literary periodicals . She won an overseas trip and several cash prizes. In July last year Robert Hale Limited of London, publishers since 1936, contracted to buy her Regency, Coming Home. At present Vonnie is writing both Regencies and romantic suspense. She holds membership of the RWA, the Beaumonde, RWA (Australia), RWNZ, ROMNA and is a ‘loopee’ on crimescenewritersgroup.
