Debra Ollivier
Debra Ollivier has written about pop culture and parenting from both sides of the U.S./France divide. She was a regular contributor to Salon and has written for Harpers, Playboy, The Guardian, Le Monde and Les Inrockuptibles, among others. Ollivier is the author of What French Women Know: About Love, Sex, and Other Matters of Heart and Mind and Entre Nous: A Woman’s Guide to Finding Her Inner French Girl. Her work has also been published in the best-selling anthology Mothers Who Think: Tales of Real-life Parenthood and Because I Said So: 33 Mothers Write About Children, Sex, Men, Aging, Faith, Race & Themselves.
Ollivier lived in France for over ten years, had her two children there, and became a dual citizen. She currently divides her time between Paris and Los Angeles, where she lives with her family, and is at work on a historical novel.
