Melanie Rose

Melanie Rose has been writing since she was a teenager. She describes herself as a writer-holic and has written a host of short stories and several non-fiction articles which have been published in magazines and newspapers. Melanie trained as a Nursery Nurse and has since worked with children in care and as a play therapist on the children's ward at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

After leaving work to start a family, she and her husband brought up four sons, all of whom provided much inspiration for her books.

She lives in a Surrey, England with her husband and four sons.
