C.C. Coburn wrote her first book when her doctor advised her to put her feet up for six weeks after breaking her foot. Heavily pregnant, she welcomed the excuse to work on a story that had been playing on the edges of her consciousness for years. Six weeks later, she had a 100,000-word manuscript, a new baby and a thirst to write more. After trying several genres, she found herself writing romance and loving it. A keen traveler, she spends five months a year living in the Colorado Rockies, taking inspiration from her surroundings.
