Matt Hilton

Matt Hilton quit his career as a police officer with Cumbria Constabulary in order to pursue his love of writing tight, cinematic American-style thrillers. He is the author of the Joe Hunter thriller series. His first novel, Dead Men’s Dust, is due to be released in May 2009 by William Morrow (HarperCollins) in the United States and with Hodder and Stoughton in the U.K. Dead Men’s Dust is currently being translated into four foreign languages. Further books in the Joe Hunter series will follow. Hilton is married and lives in Cumbria, England. He is a high ranking martial artist and has been a police officer and private security specialist, all of which lend an authenticity to the action scenes in his books.
