Bob Pearle

Dr. Pearle began his ministry here at Birchman in January 1998 and is the 26th pastor to serve this great church. With his wife, Deborah, and son, Andrew, he came to Birchman after leading First Baptist Church in Portland, Texas, for eight years. He is currently serving as president of the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention. He has a missionary heart and served as a trustee on the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, having preached the Gospel in several countries throughout the world. Bro. Bob places strong emphasis on evangelism and discipleship and growing a church through Sunday School. Dr. Pearle has served as President of Southern Baptist of Texas Convention, 2007 - present.
