Morgana Gallaway

Morgana Gallaway’s inspiration for her first novel stemmed from her own unique travels and experiences in the Middle East, as well as her father’s work as a private security contractor in Mosul, Iraq in 2004. She lives in London, England. Morgana says, "I was inspired to start writing because of my father's work as a police contractor in Iraq and Jordan, as well as my own travels in the Middle East during my college years. Then, after graduating in 2005 from the University of St Andrews, in Scotland, I went to India for several months -- mostly because I could live on two dollars a day -- and took the opportunity to write a novel. It turned out to be a success and I have been writing ever since! I'm working on several new projects now, branching out into historical and young adult fiction. I split my time between England and Arizona, depending on weather and currency exchange rates."
