Victor Hazan

Victor Hazan was born in Italy and came to the United States in his youth. Since 1976, he has conducted the wine lectures and tasting sessions at the Hazans' schools, first in Bologna and currently in Venice. His book, Italian Wine, was published in the U.S. by Knopf in 1982 and in Britain by Penguin in 1984. He has published articles on wine in FOOD & WINE MAGAZINE, Travel & Leisure and Fine Wine Folio. He is now at work on a new guide to Italian wines to be published by Farrar, Straus, Giroux.
