Stacy- Deanne

Stacy- Deanne

Stacy Deanne Reed was born on February 5, 1978 in Houston, Texas. Growing up as an only child in a two-parent, upper-middle class household, Stacy never wanted for anything except the company of siblings. It was her childhood desire for wanting brothers and sisters that formed Stacy's vibrant imagination. As means of escaping, Stacy endlessly turned to her imagination, which became the key in her writing career years later. Stacy attended Hobby Elementary and Lanier Middle School. She graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1996. Stacy made dear friends in high school but sadly lost touch with all after graduation. Stacy always found positive situations out of negative ones while growing up. Stacy was always the tallest person in her class ( sometimes taller than the teachers ) by the time she reached the tenth grade. Being 5'11 in school would have caused many girls to shame from their stature but Stacy used her height and presence to shine. Through that confidence, Stacy decided to pursue a writing career. Stacy seeks refuge in an incredibly large family. Her mother is one of nine children and her father is one of ten. Despite being loved by a huge family, Stacy considers herself the ultimate loner. While others concentrate on the usual thrills of everyday living, she finds happiness and fulfillment in her writing. Since she began writing professionally she's come to grips with a lot of tragedies and family issues that could have caused her to give up. It was facing these struggles that truly put things in perspective. Stacy realized she was a born fighter and would forever work to achieve her goals. She wishes the same for everyone else. Being a successful writer is not the only part of her future plans. Stacy plans to publish a book of her photographs one-day. She also plans to have her own clothing line geared towards tall women (because it's murder for them to find decent pants). She plans to start her own magazine. She's interested in adopting children. She also plans to start two foundations: one for Cancer Research and another for low-income families. Over the last few years Stacy's realized that life is short and has made a promise to make a supreme difference with the time she's given.
