Suzanne Strempek Shea
Suzanne Strempek Shea, winner of the 2000 New England Book Award for Fiction, is the author of five novels, including Selling the Lite of Heaven and Hoopi Shoopi Donna, and the memoirs Songs from a Lead-Lined Room (Beacon / 7215-8 / $16.00 pb) and Shelf Life (Beacon / 7259-2 / $14.00 pb). Her writing has been published in Yankee Magazine, The Boston Globe Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and ESPN the Magazine. Shea is a faculty member at the University of Southern Maine's Stonecoast MFA program in creative writing. She lives in Bondsville, Massachusetts.
