Isidore Haiblum

lsidore Haiblum is a native New Yorker. He has a BA in English from the City College of New York where he took honors in Yiddish Language and Literature of all things. He has intereviewed and reviewed the Yiddish author, lsaac Bachevis Singer, numerous times. In his misguided youth, Haiblum wrote thirteen science fiction novels that were translated into eight languages and co-authored a book celebrating the golden age of radio. For Berkley/Prime Crime, he has thus far written New York Confidential and Murder in Gotham starring the detective duo of Weiss and Weiss. His next book in the series, Deadly Secrets, is to be published early next year. Haiblum is a hiker, swimmer and a classical music buff. He tries to spend part of each summer in Saratoga Springs, New York at their SPAC classical music festival. He lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his writer/wife, Ruth. Many of his ideas pop up while they work in their rooftop garden. The plants don't seem to mind.
