Joyce DiPastena

Joyce DiPastena fell in love with the Middle Ages when she first read Thomas B. Costain’s The Conquering Family in high school. She is graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree specializing in medieval history. She finally found a use for her degree when she wrote her debut novel, Loyalty’s Web, set in the reign of King Henry II. Joyce enjoys reading, playing the piano, singing in her church choir, and being owned by her cats, Clio and Glinka Rimsky-Korsokov. Her favorite foods are chocolate chip cookies and Hershey Kisses with Almonds. (Because, after all, if they’ve got nuts, they’re good for you!) A died-in-the-wool desert rat, she lives in the beautiful state of Arizona.
